Getting started.
Do I need to be home for service?
No. The Pootector can service the yard as long as there is safe access. The crew closes and locks gates before leaving.
Do my dogs need to be inside?
Friendly dogs may be fine outside. If a dog is aggressive or needs to be secured, the team will contact you before entering the yard.
How do recurring visits work?
On your scheduled pickup day, you receive an estimated arrival text. After the yard is swept, The Pootector sends the all-clear.

How is billing handled?
Recurring clients are invoiced at the end of each month for services completed that month. Online payment is handled through QuickBooks.
Can you call before you arrive?
Yes. Let The Pootector know if you want a call ahead or text before arrival and it will be noted on your account.
Should I notify you if my dog is sick?
Yes. The team can take extra precautions to help reduce the spread of illness between yards.
Can I skip or cancel?
Yes. Call or email at least 24 hours before service so the route and billing can be updated.

What size yard are rates based on?
Published prices are based on an average backyard of about .25 acres. Initial cleanups and larger yards may have an additional charge.
What happens if grass or leaves hide waste?
The crew will clean the yard to the best of its ability, but long grass or unraked leaves can hide waste and may limit the satisfaction guarantee.
Do you observe holidays?
The Pootectors work year round but observe major U.S. holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend, and Christmas week.
